Reentry Advisory Committee Meeting Facilitation (2007-2010)

CPPR organized and facilitated a public meeting for the California Reentry Advisory Committee—a statewide committee charged (by the tenets of AB 3064) with the successful planning, implementation, and outcomes of all reentry programs and services offered by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).

 

State Policies and Procedures Regarding Gate Money (2007)

When discharged from prison, eligible inmates receive a set amount of “gate money.” This report compares California policies and practices to those of other states, and explores whether providing gate money affects recidivism.

CPPR recently finalized a literature review on the short- and long-term obstacles newly released prisoners face when they leave prison.
